Editor/Writer - Erie

Apply your business, marketing, and communication skills as an Editor for one of our national IT magazines and websites. You will interview C-level executives, write feature articles, travel to trade shows in major U.S. cities, develop relationships with key industry executives, and work along side our Publishers to develop and execute the vision for your magazine/website. You will grow into an industry expert in your technology field. As the industry expert, you will be responsible for developing marketing plans and leading marketing initiatives to assist in the growth of your magazine and website. Applicants must have at least five years of professional experience, strong communication skills, and a history of showing high initiative and acting with urgency. Prior professional writing or IT experience is not required.

As an editor, you will interview C-level executives and write feature articles, case studies, news stories, and opinion columns. While our writer-training program will advance your writing skills, you will gain knowledge of the technologies we cover through self-study and interacting with industry experts. As an ambassador for our magazines, you will travel to national trade shows six to eight times a year.

Tenured editors earn $52K to $80K+, ranking them among the highest-paid communications professionals in Erie.
